Brake & CV Joint Cleaner – Chlorinated

A fast acting, deep-cleaning formula that the professionals know, and trust! Quickly removes brake dust without leaving a residue behind. The proper use of GUNK® BRAKE CLEANER can help improve performance. Its high solvency and fast evaporation quickly dissolves and flushes away brake fluid, oil, grease and other contaminants from all types of brake and C.V. joint assemblies. It cleans instantly and can be applied without disassembling the brake unit. It leaves no residue and helps stop disc brakes squeal and “chatter”.
Use GUNK® BRAKE CLEANER on: conventional brake units, linings and shoes, drums, cylinders, springs, disc brake units C.V. joints, caliper units, brake pads, discs, and related parts.

Description

USE DIRECTIONS :

  • Protect rubber parts and boots from accidental overspray.
  • Lightly wet down surfaces to be cleaned by spraying in short bursts from a distance of 18 to 24 inches. DO NOT SPRAY ON HOT METAL SURFACES LIKE EXHAUST PIPES.
  • After surfaces have been wetted, continue spraying at a distance of 12 to 18 inches to flush contaminants from surfaces. Spray brake parts thoroughly, then allow to air dry or wipe with soft clean cloth. If deposits are heavy, repeat application. Collect any runoff
  • for proper disposal. See DISPOSAL, below.

 
PRODUCT LIMITATIONS
THIS PRODUCT WILL ATTACK PAINTED SURFACES AND PLASTIC. IF SPRAYED ON, DO NOT RUB SURFACES, FLUSH WITH WATER IMMEDIATELY.
